Terms & Conditions

Welcome to KNI Japan Pvt. Ltd. (referred to as "KNI", "we", "us", or "our"). By booking a tour package or submitting inquiries on this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Payments
- Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% to 30% of the total tour value is required to confirm bookings.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the tour departure date.
- Currency & Rates: All rates are quoted in Japanese Yen (JPY) unless explicitly specified otherwise. Rates are subject to exchange rate fluctuations until booking is fully paid.
2. Inclusions & Exclusions
Detailed inclusions are specific to each tour package and are listed under the "What's Included" section of the itinerary.
All packages exclude gratuities, bank transfer/handling fees (e.g., standard Yen 4500 bank charges), luggage transfer services unless specified, travel insurance, personal expenses, camera charges, any meals not explicitly mentioned in the itinerary, and hotel city taxes which clients must pay directly at checkout.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Hotel bookings and tour packages carry cancellation fees in accordance with supplier and hotel policies. Detailed cancellation tier percentages and terms are defined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
4. Passports, Visas & Disclaimers
It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to obtain valid entry visas, travel permits, and ensure their passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of return.
5. Travel Insurance
KNI Japan Pvt. Ltd. strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive international travel insurance before departure. This insurance should cover medical emergency expenses, evacuation costs, personal accident coverage, loss of baggage, and cancellation/curtailment fees.
6. Force Majeure & Liability
We are not responsible for cancellation or alteration of itineraries due to "Force Majeure" events (natural disasters, earthquakes, severe typhoons, epidemics, pandemics, government action, flights delays/cancellations, strikes, war, or riots). Additional expenses incurred by clients due to travel disruption, delay, or extensions are the client's sole responsibility.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saitama, Japan.
